The Friends of Northwest Park welcome and invite your help and participation in many ways.

Volunteer your help for trail work, baking for concerts, the Country Fair, or in many other ways...

Best of all, JOIN THE FRIENDS. You can do so here on-line, and now you can also earmark your contribution for any of the items on our wish list. Donations can be made for the complete price of any of the following items, or as partial payment for an item. Your donation counts toward your annual membership.

If you're already a member, a donation toward an item counts toward your next renewal or provides Life Membership if your contribution is $500 or more!

Current Wish List items:

1. Full carpet replacement for the Nature Center (Estimated cost $10,000)
2. Organic gardening education for Community Garden Plot (Estimated cost for materials $250)
3. Refrigerator (Estimated cost $600)
4. Stuffed bat and beaver (Estimated cost $200)
5. Purchasing stall mats for chicken and duck pens (Estimated Cost $790)
6. Redesign the compost area ($800)
7. Grasshopper Sparrow habitat expansion ($45,000)

To donate the price of an item on our wish list, you can simply:

• Go to the Membership Page.
• Fill in the information requested.
• In the comment box, enter the wish list item you want to support and the amount of your gift.
• Be sure to click the "Additional Gift or Wish List" box.
• Click SUBMIT!
