Annual Pancake Breakfast

A beloved tradition at Northwest Park, the Annual Pancake Breakfast is a celebration of community, nature, and the sweet rewards of the maple sugaring season. Held each year at the park’s Sugar House, this event brings together families, friends, and nature enthusiasts for a hearty breakfast featuring fresh maple syrup made from the park’s own sugar maples.

A Taste of Tradition

Since the first weekend in February, dedicated park volunteers have been hard at work collecting and boiling sap to create the rich and delicious syrup that makes this breakfast truly special. Attendees enjoy a full pancake breakfast, served with locally crafted syrup, in a warm and welcoming setting.

More Than Just Breakfast

  • Beyond the delicious meal, visitors have the opportunity to:
  • Visit the Sugar House – Learn about the sugaring process and see how sap transforms into maple syrup.
  • Explore the Park – Stroll through scenic trails, visit the Nature Center, or stop by the Tobacco Museum and animal barn.
  • Enjoy Community & Connection – Gather with neighbors and friends in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
