Join the Friends of Northwest Park and the Master Gardeners in the Demonstration Organic Garden to learn how to grow healthier, more disease-resistant and more nutritious crops, using soil amendments and foliar sprays you can make yourself!
We’ll be guided by Nigel Palmer, author of the book: The Regenerative Grower’s Guide to Garden Amendments. He will discuss several different methods of creating soil amendments and the science behind each one. Participants will then have the opportunity to make one of two different amendments to take home for their own personal use. Supplies are included with your registration fee and registration is required for this program.
