Fair Cover Art Contest

Design this years cover for the Northwest Park Country Fair program for a chance to win $100 cash prize!

The Friends of Northwest Park are excited to announce an artwork competition to create the cover of this year’s Northwest Park Country Fair program. We are inviting students from all Windsor schools to participate and showcase their creativity. The winning artwork will be featured on the cover of the program to be distributed at the fair as well as and on our website and marketing literature.  The artist will also receive a cash prize of $100 in recognition of their work.

Theme / Content

Living with Nature: How Do You or Your Community Interact with Nature and the Environment?

The theme is only a statement of inspiration. We invite students to explore the theme and USE YOUR IMAGINATION!!!

Eligibility

Entrants must be Windsor residents, enrolled as a K-12 student in a Windsor Public School, private school in Windsor, or home-schooled in Windsor.

Artwork requirements
  • The artwork should be 8.5”x11″, portrait orientation, and should utilize the entire space.
  • Digital and scanned artwork accepted in PDF, JPG, PNG (min resolution – 816x1056px, 96dpi)
  • All art styles are welcome.
  • No AI submissions please.  We are looking to exhibit the artwork and creativity of Windsor students.
Submission Requirements & Methods

All entries must include:

  • Student’s name and a contact phone number or email address
  • Students age/grade
  • Name of the school they attend or indication of homeschooling
  • Brief description of what their artwork depicts and art methods used.

Students may submit their artwork in the following ways:

  • Use the “SUBMIT AN ENTRY” button at the top of this page.
  • Drop off (during business hours) to:

Teachers wishing to submit multiple students’ artwork can utilize the same submission methods listed, or contact us at artcontest@northwestpark.org to make arrangements for group collection.

 

*All Submissions may be shared on our website, marketing literature and during the fair itself, and may include the student’s first name and age.
